    Really nice grounds for walking. Castle was a bit of a let down. Staff inside the castle did not seem to be child friendly. Parking is a bit of a mash as there is no designated parking bays so people tend to park anywhere or lea e massive gaps between themselves and the next car. The view from the castle is impressive. To be honest it's not what I would call a castle more like a miniature stately home.

    We only visited the grounds as we were on the way home from holiday with the dogs. I am disabled and there were various options to assist me in getting around. I chose to borrow a tramper which is an off road mobility scooter, this was an excellent choice as it handled the steep slopes with ease. The gardens were fabulous and the gardeners very friendly and eager to share thier passion. A nice place to visit and a great walk for the dogs.
